“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.””

This came from the first Pentecost. The first outpouring.

There was also a second outpouring through the history of revivals that happened from 1904 to 1989.

Today, God desires to pour His Spirit on all flesh. (Joel 2:28-29). It is coming to pass even today and we are looking forward to the third pentecost. His third outpouring.

We need to prepare for this outpouring and revival; to become disciple makers. Just like the disciples waited for the Holy Spirit in the first Pentecost, we need to prepare for this.

We need to be disciples before we are disciple makers.

What makes a disciple?

1. A disciple knows whose his allegiance to.

2. A disciple knows everything has been given by God.

3. A disciple know his life doesn’t belong to him.

We should be disciples becoming disciple makers (Acts 6:3)

“And the saying pleased the whole multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch,”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭6:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

From Acts 6:5, disciple makers are people with a

1. a good reputation and
2. filled with the Holy Spirit and
3. the wisdom of God,
4. filled with faith.
(Luke 2:52, James 1:5)

More disciple makers results in the spreading of the Word of God.

“Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭6:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We can’t remain disciples but must become disciple makers. We need to be prepared to become disciple makers.
