My Prophetic Destiny
We have 84 days before 2023.
“So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
Psalms 90:12 NKJV
We need the wisdom of God to know what God wants us to do in 2023.
God is not just a God of identity but also a God of purpose and destiny (Romans 8:28).
He is also a God of time and season.
“And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.”
Daniel 2:21-22 NKJV
God gave us a spiritual destiny (Romans 6:23) with us as a chosen people.
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”
John 15:16 NKJV
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;”
I Peter 2:9 NKJV
We are appointed to bear much fruit that extends the Kingdom of God and lasts through into eternity.
Our spiritual destiny became confirmed when the Holy Spirit came upon us. This is our prophetic destiny.
“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
II Corinthians 3:18 NKJV
We are no made to be idle in the Kingdom. We are made to be moving forward and going from glory to glory.
“For exaltation comes neither from the east Nor from the west nor from the south.”
Psalms 75:6 NKJV
This prophetic destiny is meant for everyone of us. God uses the ordinary of your life and turns your prophetic destiny into the extraordinary.
God used many people in the Bible who were ordinary and turned it into a extraordinary prophetic destiny.
“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”
I Corinthians 15:10 NKJV
“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”
John 16:13 NKJV
God tells us the things to come, which makes up the times and seasons of God.
“But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.”
I Corinthians 2:9-10 NKJV
We qualify for the prophetic destiny He has for us. This is what we are looking for in 2023. What is God’s prophetic destiny for us?
The Lord is about to usher you into a prophetic destiny.
An example of a man in the Bible is Joshua, who was being led into
His prophetic destiny.
“Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure. Do not come near it, that you may know the way by which you must go, for you have not passed this way before.” And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.” And the Lord said to Joshua, “This day I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.”
Joshua 3:4-5, 7 NKJV
Our indulgence in the Word of God attracts the presence of God.
In a prophetic destiny, there must be a surrendered heart.
What is the catalyst that leads prophetic destiny?
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Joshua 1:8 NKJV
When you fulfill God’s Word, you will be prosperous and have good success.
The purpose of this message is to enter into 2023 with God’s Word and in the process, discover our prophetic destiny in God.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.”
Psalms 119:105 NKJV
The prophetic destiny meant for us is from victory to victory.
This must be our response to God’s Word.
“Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts.”
Jeremiah 15:16 NKJV
Let us enter into 2023 in finding the Word, eating the Word and digesting the Word.
The manual to doing life is the Bible.
“Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law.”
Psalms 119:18 NKJV
Our life and our live decisions are meant to be based on the Word of God. We can live life as we read the Word of God.
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.””
Joshua 1:8-9 NKJV
