DAY 2

Scripture:
“Even now,” declares the LORD, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning. “Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.
Joel 2:12-13

According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Repent” is, ‘Metanoeō’ which means, “To change one’s mind, to change one’s mind for better, heartily to amend with abhorrence of one’s past sins.” Choose to turn away from sin. Allow God to wash your heart from the stains of the past. Let God transform you completely. Let Christ renew your heart. Let Christ breathe on every aspect of your life.
When you surrender to Christ, the old man dies and the new man comes alive. When you accept Jesus Christ, as your Lord and Savior, He gives you the power to tread over the stronghold of sin. When you are in Christ, it is your choice to either serve sin or to surrender to Christ.
When you are in Christ, you do not have to cling to the sins, entanglements, and addictions of the past. When you repent and turn to God, He gives you the power, strength, and fortitude to overcome sin in every area of your life. When you are in Christ, He blots out your sin completely — He remembers it no more.

Prayer
Lord today I choose to turn away from everything that has taken my heart away from you, and I turn towards your heart. Show me and help me to be transformed into Your Love as I spend time in Your presence.
