DAY 3
Scripture:
“Change your life, not just your clothes. Come back to God, your God. And here’s why: God is kind and merciful. He takes a deep breath, puts up with a lot, This most patient God, extravagant in love, always ready to cancel catastrophe. Who knows? Maybe he’ll do it now, maybe he’ll turn around and show pity. Maybe, when all’s said and done, there’ll be blessings full and robust for your God! ”
Joel 2 : 13 – 14 MSG
The world is constantly evolving, but the message of Jesus still remains the same.
We can easily get carried away by the constant pressure to perform and to keep up with society. Our spiritual boundaries sometimes get compromised as we drift away loosing ourselves to the pleasures of the world.
In this passage above, God is inviting us as His children to come back home into His arms.
It is never too late or early to run back to Jesus. He waits for us to return home, into His loving arms. If there is this constant emptiness in your heart today, let Jesus’s presence fill you. Let Him love on you extravagantly with His everlasting love.
