God brings us through different seasons of life. Whatever season we are in or in transition into, God is with us.

“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.”
‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:1, 11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

He has made everything beautiful in its time

External perspectives from circumstances influence the internal perspective of our lives.

God says He makes everything beautiful in its time and has planted eternity in our hearts.

There is an eternal perspective which isn’t influenced by circumstances and is grounded. We are aware of the divine purpose of God in our lives.

What we go through now in the perspective of the long term may not be as important or we realize that there was a purpose to it.

God sees our finite lives through the lens of eternity. God sees the beginning and the end and sees everything. We can trust God for this reason and that He has our best in mind.

“I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.”
‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:12-13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The author says to be joyful and take pleasure in our work. When toil comes, what mindset and perspective do we have.

Having an eternal perspective changes our mindset. What are we going to do with the time given to us?

“I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him.”
‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

God is in control of all things and we can trust Him. To be filled with such awe and wonder of Him and joyful as we come through the difficult seasons with Him.
