Become The Mouthpiece Of God

Service Type:

A new day is dawning on us and the church. A season is ending and a new season is beginning. (1 Peter 4:7)
——————————————————————

Luke 10:33, Jesus talks about the parable of the Good Samaritan. There had been a long standing hostility and animosity between Jews and Samaritan. There was a history of retaliation between Jews and Samaritan. The Jews always marginalized the Samaritans.

But there was a new day dawning on the Samaritans.

John 4: 39-42:
Jesus brought a life changing moment and atmosphere to the people of Samaria and the Jews.

The news and media are constantly bombarding us with negativity and facts.
We need to become the mouthpiece of God among the people within our sphere of influence and expose what people hear with the truth of God. (1 Peter 4:11)

For a time such as this only the gospel of God can bring hope to the people around us. We must become the oracle of God to the people around us. (Isaiah 60:3)

Our testimonies will bring healing and breakthroughs to others. Only the church has the authority and power of God to pray for the situations in our world.

Our testimonies during this time are important. Like the Samarian woman who witnessed to the people of her town of what Jesus had done, we must rise up as oracles of God. (Ezekiel 37:4)

The world needs to hear the voice of God’s Word.

A slave girl who served King Naaman’s wife spoke what was needed (testimony) that resulted in the healing of King Naaman’s leprosy (2 Kings 5: 1-3, 15)

As ordinary and simple as you are, your testimony can bring a miraculous effect to the lives of people around us.

The Samarian woman’s testimony changed the lives of the Samaritans who heard (John 4:39)

We often minimize the testimonies of God in our lives because we are distracted by the problems around us. (Romans 10:13-14)

God has loved us and now it’s our turn to love others. Our testimonies are powerful. (1 John 4:18, Acts 2: 40-41)

Don’t allow the struggles, the difficulties, the circumstances and our weaknesses to reduce and minimize the power of our stories of God in our lives.

We are not perfect but it’s the imperfect vessel that will brings the power of God.

Why is our testimony is important?

1. It carries fresh anointing (Psalm 92:10)
2. It carries reality and relevance. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
3. It carries the truth of God (John 14:6, John 8:32)

Don’t waste time on complaints, negative reports, gossip etc. Use the energy to share the gospel to someone. We are chosen to be in the world to represent Jesus.
