How Will They Call On Him Whom They Have Not Believed

Passage: Acts 2: 17-19, 21
Service Type:

People can only call upon the name of the Lord when they believe and know Jesus (Mark 10: 46-48, Romans 10:14, Mark 5: 27-29)

How will they call on upon the name of the Lord if no one goes to them and preaches to them of Jesus? (Romans 10:15)

Universalism, which believes they are many paths to God, is a lie. Jesus is the only way to the Father and heaven (John 14:6, Acts 17:23)

The preparation of the harvest is our job, before the great outpouring of the Spirit. The forerunner to this revival is evangelism. Greater evangelism leads to greater harvest leads which leads to greater revival.

John 4: 34-35 reveals that Jesus says the harvest is ready and the Church must be ready for this harvest.

We all have a place of fishing for the souls of man; people that we can reach out to in our everyday places of life, from neighbors to family and even work places.

No one can chain the Word of God but at the same time, the Gospel remains invalid until it is preached.

The mandate that Jesus gave us as a disciple is in Matthew 9:37-38; to disciple all peoples and nations to know and believe in Jesus. Also, that we would have a burden for souls and a zeal for soul winning (Matthew 9:35-36)

3 Things To Acquire A Burden & Zeal
for Souls and Winning the Lost:

1. Obey His Command (Matthew 28:19)
2. Not look at people as people but look at people as souls (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23)
3. You have to go where people are
