Living In the New Normal

Speaker: Ps. Derrick | In this time, the phrase, “The New Normal” is common.

All of us are having and experiencing a different range of emotions about this season. Everything will not return to the same. Hand masks, temperature checks, hand sanitizers are part of this new normal.

But have we asked what God is saying about this new normal? What God, are you saying about this new normal?

Isaiah 43:19-
We might be going through difficult circumstances and impossible situations.

But He is about to do a new thing in your life. God is about to show up in Your life like never before. He is still in control.
The truth will deliver us and bring us into the promise land.

He also wants to make all things new
(Rev 21:5)

There’s a difference:

To do a new thing is to encounter something never seen or done before.

To make all things new is to take something present and make it brand new. A renewal of situations and even familiar things.

What is God saying about this new normal? God is interested in the new you.
God wants to do a new thing and make all things new in your life.

We are a new species and a new creation that has never been seen before on the earth. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Seeing the impossible and a lifestyle of miracles come to pass should be our new normal.

Jesus didn’t die on the Cross for our comfort. Jesus died so we could experience heaven on earth. Everywhere we go, we carry the presence of God.

By faith we believe in this Jesus (Hebrews 11:1

The difficult situations we face, by faith can be overcome. Faith in Jesus can move impossible situations. God can take any situation and turn it all around for good. (Mark 11:23)

Faith that is not tested is not real faith at all.

What is impossible for God to do through us? Speaking death leads to death. But hold fast to His promises and speak life. Live by faith and not by sight.
(Ezekiel 37: 1-4, 9-10, Proverbs 18:21)

We will still face difficult times but be sleeping soundly in the boat because the One who is in us is greater than the one who is around us.

Let us rise up as believers in this new normal. The lifestyle of miracles and the supernatural.
