Living in the Spirit

Passage: Luke 24:49, John 16:13, Acts 2:1-4
Service Type:

Bible Text: Luke 24:49, John 16:13, Acts 2:1-4 | Speaker: Rev. Benedict Rajan | Today is the day of Pentecost. The day when the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples.
Jesus told the disciples in advance that the Holy Spirit would come. (Luke 24:49, John 16:13, Acts 2:1-4)

If there was a first Pentecost, the second Pentecost happened in the USA; Azusa Street Revival (1906-1915)

We have had pockets of revival ever since across the world.
The world is now being prepared for the third Pentecost. Covid-19 is a sign of the soon return of Jesus (Matthew 24:7)

Acts 2: 16-21 is what we embrace and are preparing for. The Spirit will be poured out and the Gospel preached. (Matthew 24.14)

It is time to live in the Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:17, Acts 3:19)

The purpose of this message is to live a healthy Spirit filled life. (Revelation 2:29)

[Ephesians 5: 18-21]
5 Dynamics of Living Healthy in the Spirit:

1. Continuously be filled with the Spirit of God (Ephesians 5: 18-21, Matthew 9:17, Psalm 92:10, John 7: 36-39, 1 Corinthians 4: 2-4)

2. Continuously renewed conversation (Colossians 4:6, Proverbs 25:11, Isaiah 50:4)

3. Continuously renewed in the spirit man (Romans 12:11, Psalm 122:1, Hebrew 12:15)

4. Continuously renewed in our attitude (Philippians 2:14, 1 Thessalonians 5:18)

5. Continuously renewed in our service to one another (1 Peter 1: 4-10, Galatians 6:1)
