In looking unto Jesus as the Author and Finisher of faith is to set our mind on Him; to see Him as Jehovah Jireh.

Colossians 3: 1-2 reveals the first step, that is to set our mind on Jesus.

Purpose of the message:

As the new season is dawning on us, may we look up to Him as our sole provider.

Genesis 22:14 reveals that He is the God who will provide. He doesn’t provide according the economies of this world.

The New Testament reveals Jesus as a giver. (Matthew 15:32)
Jesus has a beautiful giving heart that is moved towards us in compassion in wanting to meet our needs. He wants to meet our need and provide for us.

Matthew 6: 25 -worry doesn’t belong to us
Matthew 6: 32 - your heavenly Father knows all these things we need
Matthew 6: 8- God is the one who provides for us

In the impossibilities of emptiness, God is able to give us something. Let’s be radically be trusting Him for our needs. He hold all the keys to the doors.

Principles of God As Provider:

1. When we pursue Him as our only source in faith, trust and obedience, He will become our provider. (Genesis 22, Matthew 6:33, Deuteronomy 8:18, Ephesians 3:20, Genesis 22:17, Psalm 60:12, Philippians 4:19)

2. He is a more-than-enough Provider when we trust Him completely. (Philippians 4:19, Psalm 34:8)

3. He is a proven provider. (2 Corinthians 9:8, Matthew 6:8)

Stay close to the Provider in faith.
