Position Yourself
If God’s plan is to prosper us and to give us a hope and a future, He will fulfill His Word. God has a divine appointment for each one of us.
Positioning ourselves in the presence of God and to hear His Word sets us up to be rewarded and blessed. He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
Billy Graham positioned himself in the place where John Wesley used to kneel and pray and was used powerfully when he asked God to do it again. If God could do it again through Billy Graham, what more us in Malaysia.
A harvest of souls in Malaysia and Calvary City Church is coming. The moment we position ourselves, God can do wonders.
How are we positioning ourselves in the presence of God for those breakthroughs, miracles and healings to come?
How you position yourself today will set up your victories for tomorrow. Are we positioned ourselves for the move of God and to receive that move?
It is about positioning ourselves and believing God for those breakthroughs.
“Now Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim. And Moses said to Joshua, “Choose us some men and go out, fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand.” So Joshua did as Moses said to him, and fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.” Exodus 17:8-13 NKJV
Moses positioned himself on the hill, during the battle, with Aaron and Hur. Moses kept his hands and staff up and they experienced victory. The opposite would happen when he lowered his hands and staff. This is not an easy task. Our endurance to hold things up will eventually grow weary. So it was Moses.
So what did they do? They came up with a strategy. Aaron and Hur supported Moses’ hands, standing on either side of him. Moses also sat down while keeping his hands and staff up. Then the victory was won.
Aaron and Hur had a strategy with Moses to support him and to see victory come through for the battle. The three were positioned and supporting Moses from the morning to the going down of the sun.
When the battle becomes overwhelming, maybe the Lord is teaching us to adopt a new strategy and position ourselves.
When we can’t stand, kneel in the presence of God. We need to position ourselves in His presence. (Hebrews 11:6, Lamentations 3:24)
When you position yourself in the presence of God:
1. You are knocking at the door of your miracle. The woman with the issue of blood positioned herself for her miracle.
“But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.” Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately. And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.””
Luke 8:46-48 NKJV
2. The impossible becomes possible. Elijah positioned himself for the breakthrough of the abundance of rain coming.
“Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.” So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees,
Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.’ ””
I Kings 18:41-42, 44 NKJV
3. You will see the salvation of the Lord. Even though the battle belongs to the Lord, when we position ourselves the breakthrough comes. God needs our participation in the process we will see the salvation of the Lord.
“And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.””
II Chronicles 20:15, 17 NKJV
We need to position ourselves in such a way that God will use us for the furtherance of Kingdom; to have the conviction to be positioned for the things that God is about to do in the days to come.
