Remember to Remember

Speaker:
Service Type:

The Lord’s plan over us is a good plan (Jeremiah 29:11). The promises of God are not dependent on circumstances but depend solely on the Lord.

Even if we don’t know what the year ahead holds for us, the Lord knows. His intention is always to give us a good plan. We put our hope and faith in Him alone. This is how we remain confident in Christ alone.

Let’s not bring what we have experienced in the past into the New Year. We need to move forward.

If we as believers fail to see His goodness and faithfulness , we have lost sight of who He is. We may have lost hope for those promises and dreams of God.

God is going to work in 2022. 2022 is going to bring back hope to all those dreams with God. Your dream with God is His reality for you. We can experience heaven even now on earth.

Some of us need a soul and heart rest from all the negativity that only Christ can give.

2022 is going to be the year of restitution and restoration. Hold on to hope.

We feel like the dreams and desires with God aren’t going to come to pass. If we have the faith to stick it through, we will see the reward of things coming to pass. Don’t be discouraged.

God is going to bring back those dreams, desires in God to remembrance. We might forget but God never forgets His promises. That’s how good and faithful our God is.

Let’s remember to remember His faithfulness, His promises, the prophecies spoken over etc as God is a God that will never fail.

What He says will come to pass. The music hasn’t ended yet. We will see the reward of our faithfulness, sacrifice and obedience and the fruit of our faith.

It’s easy to focus on the negative things. What you meditate on is so important. What you meditate on will grow, whether good or bad. (Philippians 4:8)

We can’t bring the past, pain, disappointments etc into the New Year.

Don’t let what has happened to you make you miss what is in store for you. Don’t let what’s behind cause you to miss out on what’s ahead.

Many of us want to have a change but don’t want to be challenged. Many of us want to go deeper in God but aren’t willing to go the distance.

Your destiny in God is a bright future.

The pandemic has caused us to focus on the problem rather than the Presence. We seek His hands for provision rather than His face.

Our Father is still good to us. Let’s not forget the benefits of trusting Him. (Psalm 103: 1-5). If God came through for us before, He can do it again and He will do it. He provides and He delivers. This is His nature (Romans 8:28)

God remains the same and no circumstances will change anything He as planned for us. Don’t be fearful but faith filled for what lies ahead in 2022. His plan for us is always full of Him.

The plan of God for us is found in Him. God is in control. Until we understand this, we will be constantly chasing the perishable.

Yet when we chase the Unperishable, the perishable will chase after us (Matthew 6:33). What matters to you matters to God. Stop worrying. Worry distorts the promises of God.

Sometimes we can ask the wrong questions to God (Matthew 6:31-32).
Remember to remember His faithfulness (Lamentations 3: 20-24)

When you are faithful, He will be faithful.

God is interested in us as a person. We need to be reminded that He loves us and wants to be good to us.

God is never disappointed in us. He loves us. Remember to remember to include Him in every detail of our lives. God wants to come through for you in the little things of our life.
