Remembrance
If we believe in the glory of God, for this season we are entering into, we will see it. Jesus called to remembrance the answered prayer with His Father, before raising Lazarus to life.
Jesus’ remembrance of answered pray brought about a revelation that led to the glory of resurrection.
Remembrance is powerful
(Isaiah 60:1-3) As we call to mind the remembrance of God in the Bible, we will see the glory of God in our lives.
Purpose of this message:
4 dynamic cornerstones of remembrances in the Bible and its purpose in our lives.
1. Remembrance of His mercy (Lamentations 3: 21-25, Hebrews 4:16, Psalm 123: 1-2, Matthew 5:7)
2. Remembrance of His Name: A lifestyle of being thankful and being grateful for His Name (Psalm 97:12, 1 Thessalonians 5:18, Psalm 23:3, Ephesians 5:20, Philippians 2: 12-14, Psalm 103:5)
3. Remembrance of God’s will and purpose for our lives. (Luke 17: 32-33, 1 John 2: 15-17, 1 Corinthians 15:58)
4. Remembrance of our future journey with God: Remember not to remember the past (Isaiah 43:18-19, Philippians 3:14)
An effective life produces effective testimonies. Let us arise and shine, remembering the relevance of the remembrance of God in the Word.
In the process, we become Christ’s ambassadors to the earth.
