See The Way Father Sees You- Part II
When He anoints us with the oil of gladness, we feel His joy. His anointing break the yoke.
The enemy preaches and is always against the nature of God and us. The power of darkness coming against the will of God.
As a believer and child of God, we have to be aware about what the Father says about us. When this happens, we will not be shaken by what the enemy says or does.
The enemy can use words and makes us believe things that God did not say about us; to partner with those words and be in a place of fear.
“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”
Isaiah 41:10 NKJV
God’s word carries the finality over our lives and situations. The blood of Lamb gives us victory.
It is vital to not create our belief system with fear. Fear creates bondage. His perfect love cast out fear.
We are called to love and great boldness.
This helps us to navigate life.
One of the most powerful things Jesus came to do was to reveal the Father to us.
“And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.”
John 17:5-6 NKJV
When it came to the New Covenant, Jesus came to manifest and reveal the fullness of God’s Name to us. He came to reveal a good Father.
“For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.””
Romans 8:15 NKJV
The word Abba is a very intimate word. We must be saturated and close to how good the Father is. When we do, it affects the way we look at ourselves and others.
Otherwise we become uncomfortable with love and with others.
We must know His thoughts towards us are always good.
All our unrighteousness is paid for on the Cross. We can stand perfectly before the Father to receive His love. A good Father is waiting for us.
This creates a life of confidence and intimacy in Him without fear. God’s love for us is not dependent on our behavior or what we can do but on His nature of love.
Even in the mess of the woman caught in adultery, Jesus revealed the heart of the Father. His love will overcome all our shortcomings.
In this, we will become a lover of Jesus.
Luke 15 tells the story of the prodigal son who squandered his inheritance and walked away from the father.
The son came back not in repentance but out of hunger and to become a servant. The moment the father saw the son, he hugged him. The father’s love came to meet the son first. The father’s love was because of his nature.
The son experienced the father’s love.
In the Father’s love, we are forever free from all condemnation. When was the last time you felt the embrace of the Father? The greatest connection you could ever have is with the Father. God the Father loves to spend time with you so much that He wants to make His home with you. You are in Christ Jesus and have a beautiful union with the Father. We become a place His love is manifest. (John 14:23)
To experience this:
1. We need to receive the Father’s love, receive forgiveness and forgive ourselves.
2. Invite the Lord to Father you. In this you will receive a greater protection of God over your live. Hide yourself in His love. The greatest mentor and counselor we could ever have is God the Father. God will never force us to repent but waits for us with His love. We exchange our heart and thoughts for the heart and thoughts of God.
No matter what state we are in, God wants to celebrate us and our breakthroughs. The Father loves us.
