During this difficult time, it is time to put put our faith in practice.

Whatever circumstances we are facing, faith has the power to overcome them (Mark 10:27, Mark 9:23)

We will see the rewards of faith (Hebrews 11:6).

Colossians 1:27

Christ in us is the hope of glory. This is His glory of His restoration, restitution and acceleration.

This will work concurrently with Isaiah 60: 1-3. The glory of God will arise over us.

What is the ultimate purpose of His glory arising over us?

Isaiah 60:3
The Gentiles and kings will come to the brightness of the Gospel; we become Christ’s ambassadors.

This ties with Romans 10:14 of people hearing the Gospel.

Psalm 16:9:
The purpose of this glory is to preach the Gospel. The glory is defined here as “tongue” (preaching)

Romans 10: 13-16 reveals that preaching this Gospel will allow people to call upon the Name of Jesus to be saved. If the Gospel is not preached, people will perish without knowing Who can save them.

John 4: 34-35, Matthew 9: 37-38
Jesus reminds us that the harvest of souls is ripe and not to wait to preach the Gospel to those who need to hear it.

Let us position ourselves to win the lost in two ways:

1. Focused on loved ones in prayer (Acts 16:31).
2. Focused in prayer for our neighbors (Psalm 126: 5-6)

The urgency of this hour is this. Death is for sure, eternity is real. The in-between these two is uncertain without Jesus. Therefore develop a burden for your loved ones.

Let us become generous with this Gospel for the lost and perishing; a burden for souls. (Acts 16:31)
