You Are Empowered to Serve God Part 2
Love looks like something and has an expression. Love has a way of expressing itself.
Have you learnt to love when things get tough and as you mature? Love looks like something.(John 17: 1-3)
The Father gave His only Son to die on a Cross. The Cross is the ultimate expression of love. ( 1 John 4:19)
God loves us even before we even choose Him.
All of us have a purpose and assignment from God which often looks like serving in the house of God.
Serving is a choice, whether we feel it or not. In your serving you discover your purpose. There is a power in serving God.
Serving God starts from the heart. Only 5 percent comes from your gifting. The rest comes from the heart.
Posture yourself to serve from the heart.
Be encouraged that you have an anointing from the Lord to serve God. The anointing teaches us how to serve God.
We are saved by God to serve Him. The anointing is the ability to serve.
We only stop serving when we are dependent upon ourselves rather than His grace.
We are not called to be spectators in the church. We are not called to be consumers but are called to give to the Lord.
We are anointed and empowered by the Lord to do greater works and good works. (Ephesians 2:10)
Certain things are given to us in the Kingdom. (John 14:12) Other things come from being hungry for the things of the Lord.
Why is it important to work and display the power of God? It is to let God be glorified.
Faith is spelled RISK.
When you’re anointed by the Lord, there is a level of risk involved.
We are not powerful. The One who lives in us is powerful. “Pull the trigger” and give what God gave you to give.
Love is the heartbeat of God. When you love you serve, when you serve you love. Know that you have something to give.
We are called to nations and to disciple nations and be witness for Christ. The world is waiting for us to preach the Gospel. (Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:18-20)
We are living in the end times and the anointing is for us to be an end time harvester. Love people by preaching the Gospel.
We are anointed by the Lord to preach the Gospel. You can talk about Jesus.
Your life has to display the power of God in public. (Matthew 5: 13-15)
The world is waiting to hear the Good News of Jesus.
Serving doesn’t look flashy or glamorous.
Leadership without compassion is entitlement. Jesus was the servant of all.
Jesus still empowered and washed the feet of even Judas who would betrayed.
What if serving God isn’t about a platform but the progression of our hearts?
All of us have a grace and ability to serve God.
