Missions Giving Is Special
Giving to God is a sweet smelling aroma to God. (Philippians 4:18)
Missions giving as an acceptable sacrifice to God when giving out of need.
Giving is well pleasing in the sight of God.
And in this He gives us a promise to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19)
“Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.”
Philippians 4:17 NKJV
Giving is a blessing to others and will be multiplied back to us. (Proverbs 11:25)
“Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.”
Philippians 4:18 NKJV
“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.””
Luke 6:38 NKJV
Heaven rejoices over one who is lost being found and coming back to Jesus. This is why missions giving is special. It is to do with saving the lost. One soul saved and heaven rejoices.
Missions giving triggers a sacrifice on our part.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.”
John 12:24 NKJV
“Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?”
Matthew 16:24-26 NKJV
Obedience always pleases God.
“Then a voice came from heaven, “You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.””
Mark 1:11 NKJV
