Entering Into Year 2022
Even in the midst of difficult circumstances and what situations say, we are called to believe and declare what God says about 2022.
The power of our confession and declaration has power to influence things and our lives. We need to prepare as believers to enter into 2022. The promises of God can be declared as we enter into 2022 as believers.
Whatever we declare has power to influence the fruit of our lives. (Proverbs 18:21)
If we keep loving to complain about our situations, we will reap whatever we declare that is negative.
But choosing to confess that God will be good to us in spite of circumstances will see the fruit of His goodness in our lives.
Our words create.
Whatever we confess will come to pass. If we confess life and the promises of God in our lives, we will see His faithfulness over our lives.
What we confess reveals what we believe.
(2 Corinthians 4:13)
Believing and declaration go hand in hand. Faith in action in spite of circumstances.
The news is designed to bring us down and can start to affect us. Even though the facts are there, we can have faith to confess otherwise. We know that the God we serve is the God of the impossible.
We have faith even in our circumstances and we declare and confess God’s goodness as we go through things.
We need to be careful what we confess over our daily lives. There is power and authority in our confessions. (Psalm 141:3)
We need to start declaring His goodness (Isaiah 61: 1-2). When we declare 2022 is going to be acceptable and favourable year of the Lord, it shall come to pass for us and all who trust in Him.
We need to confess our way through even when our situations are on the opposite end. (Mark 11: 23-24)
The Kingdom of God operates in faith and declaration (Romans 10:9) to see the reality of heaven on earth.
“Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.”
I Samuel 17:45-46 NKJV
Before David engaged in battle with Goliath, he started with confession.
David collected 5 stones (1 Samuel 17:40) but only one was needed for the victory. When we put our trust in God, we don’t need a backup plan to take down our Goliaths. The Lord will never fail.
We all have Goliaths in our lives. But stick it out and trust Him until the victory of the Lord comes (Ps 84: 11-12).
Let’s put our hope and trust in God once again, that we will see His goodness and impossibilities move.
Three Thing For Moving Forward in 2022
1. Watch your mouth (Ephesians 4:22).
2. Guard your heart (Proverbs 4:23).
3. Confess only what God will confess.
