Be Bold & Go
Matthew 18:20
When two or three are gathered in His Name, He will be in the midst of them.
God loves it when the people of God come together in one accord.

Message:
The story of Jesus is more than just a bedtime story. It is historical and actually took place. As believers, the resurrected Jesus is our reality. We are a walking revival filled with the Holy Sprit.
The theme for this year is “How will they hear?” (Romans 10:4) That involves speaking.
Before Jesus commissioned the disciples to go and preach the Gospel, Jesus empowered them to do so. (Matthew 28: 18-19)
We are first anointed before we are appointed. We are empowered knowing that the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in us. (2 Timothy 1:7, Acts 1:8). We are first equipped before we are sent out.
As believers, we all play an important role in someone else’s salvation. In the same way someone was bold to share the Good News with us, so are we called to do so for someone else.
The Gospel itself carries power. Let the power of the Gospel manifest itself as you simply share it with others.
It is not our job to save people. It is Jesus’ job to save. It is our responsibility to step out in boldness and be messengers, sharing the Gospel to others. Yet not by our own power but only in Jesus Name can people be saved.
What does being bold mean? It means that even in the presence of fear, you take a step forward by faith. That’s when you get empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Be bold and go. Even as you go in obedience, the power to do so comes. Even in the face of the rejection, it doesn’t matter. It’s all about the obedience. The great commission is to go.
It’s not about the end result and the fear of failure. When there is nothing to prove, there’s nothing to fear. We don’t need to prove God. God will prove Himself. Let God be God.
As believers and children of God, we are called to be lead by the Lord (Romans 8: 13-14, Psalm 32:8) to be bold and go.
How do we be bold and go?
1. Find 3 friends who don’t know the Gospel and share it with them.
2. Trust the Lord in the process (Proverbs 3:5-6)
3. The Holy Spirit will help you in our weaknesses.
Let us be bold and go the leading of the Spirit and share the Gospel.
